I am beginning to not even want to get out of bed. The Twins (Ryan and Syd) went to Boise to check it out. I hoped they would not like it there....but NOOOOOO!!! The put some money down on an apartment. They will be moving there in 2 weeks. They only live 1/4th of a mile from us now. I wanna scream. Are you aware that I won't have one child in my city that I live? Waaaaaa
Yesterday I made it through Sacrament meeting and Sunday School Class, and then I had the biggest meltdown I have had yet. I made it to the car and then bawled like a little baby for one and one half hours! I have done so good, but I guess everything caught up with me. Even my dog was concerned.
But good news.....I am flying to California in 1 month to stay with Karen. I met her through Jerry's work. She will be therapy to me and when we are together we are like 2 seventh graders.
Her laugh is so contagious. I am using my frequent flyer miles and I can hardly wait. I am going to book my flight after I know that Jerry's surgery tomorrow is good. Keepin' my fingers crossed!
Stacy and Cole are going to be there tomorrow so I am happy about that. They are my best best best buddies. I am so blessed to have these 4 kids in my life. They are my strength.
Do you think the twins should move to Boise? Vote yes or no!!!! (for any of you new bloggers, Ryan is my son and he and Sydni have been together for 3 years. They got married last November, but I have always called them the 12 year old twins. They are just 2 crazy kids in love) think it should be against the law to have your kids move away!!!

Sure!! It is hard to move away from family, but there is nothing that strengthens a marriage/family more than living away. It can be great! Think of all the good times you guys have had moving far away. I know that my mom hates it though. Love ya!
I would have the hardest time moving away from my family and also Taylor's family. I am a big baby though. I am sure it is hard for you to think about them moving since you are so close to your kids!
Well......I don't think I should answer that last question. You might shoot me. ; )
I am SO sorry you had a melt down though yesterday. If I lived there in your ward, I wouldn't have let you get very far to the car without me there by your side.
Hang in there! Boise is not that far away. Just think....one more FREE place to stay when you go away on vacation. There IS cool things to see and do in Boise, is there not? : D
Hang in there! Still keeping Jerry and you in our prayers.
I know they'll miss you guys but it really does strengthen a marriage to be away from all your family! It does STINK but makes spending time together that much more cherished. Hope Jerry's surgery goes well!
Hmmmm...my vote is....if it's within 3 hours drive then I guess it's o.k. When I moved away, I realized how much I missed my fam. I wouldn't mind living in the same city but a different ward. I don't know what to say because the thought of all my kids leaving makes ME want to have a meltdown...
I'm so sorry. Sometimes, I can't wait for the day when all the kids leave and then in the same thought I'm feeling like grieving. WHAT is up with that!!!!
Nope, I'm with you! I want to be selfish and keep them with me!! Yup! Let's be selfish together!!
No, I don't think any kid should move away from their parents. Two of my kids are moving away. Jon is moving to Maryland and taking their baby girl and Joe is moving to the other side of the U.S. - Southern California and taking their baby girl. I can hardly stand it. Good luck on Tuesday. Hope everything goes well. You'll be in our prayers.
Love You
I know it's hard to say goodbye, but it will be good for them. You'll love each other even more. I know I love and miss my family more than ever now that I'm gone. Glad you have a fun trip to look forward to!
aww sad that they are moving away I am so sad that you are sad! Not fair eh! I hope everything goes good tomorrow too. You are the best!!
Judy, although I'm sure you're a dang awesome MIL, I live next to my in-laws right now and let's just say I can't wait until we move. . . :) It's no fun living far away from your family, but at least Boise isn't across the country. Good luck!
We sure are going to miss those two in Primary. They are both awesome teachers and those kids love them! (my vote is NO) :)
Both of our parents live in I.F. and when we moved, it was hard. But now I rely on my husband, not my mom. And hey, we live 10 min from Boise, if they need a home cooked meal- just tell them to come on over! :)
That's really hard, but I know everything will be ok. I love that pic of them dancing that is so cute. You guys will just love each other even more while you're away from each other. Family is the best!
