August 15, 1940 was evidence that Grandma Denning did not have a tumor. Nine months before, the doctor told Grandma that she had a tumor and she told him that if she did not have a baby in nine months, then they could take out the tumor. That little tumor was my mom! My grandma was 46 when Mom was born. (hate to admit it, but that is MY age)
Boy! am I grateful grandma knew! I hate to say it to the world out there, but I have the best MOM ever. She has always been by my side. Always stood close by, cheering me on. She loves me and my family. She has sacrificed her life for her family. My mom has always been a great example to me and my kids. The kids knew that they would always be received at Grandma's with open arms. I love it when my mom calls to check in. I know I always seem so busy, but I am just following in her footsteps.....raising kids, serving others and on and on and on!!!
