The other day I got on Holly's blog. (love Holly) and she asked about "uplifting quotes". I couldn't think of one. Thought and thought. I think the one that goes along with my life right now is:
LIVE IN THE MOMENT-SAVOR TODAY
Don't know where I got this, just came into my head. My mind seems to wonder. A lot! I find myself afraid or confused about things. When I really think about them they are things that have happened or things I am afraid will happen. I am usually not afraid in the "moment." My favorite down fall about myself is regret and guilt. Why didn't I do this or that, I could have tried harder, or set higher goals. Why did this happen when it's not fair? I also catch myself worrying about the future, things that are out of my hands. Why? When I stop and look at the moment....that very second that I'm breathing, I can find joy. My life is at peace. It may be a hectic moment, but I do have some control over it. There has been lots of heart ache in so many lives of people I know. Lots of decisions to make, things in our lives that we have no control over,
prayers we feel are not answered. He answers our prayers. We need to be in the moment and listen. Not just ask, but listen. I have struggled with mind wondering lately. What is in store for my kids, what is to become of me and on and on...... I have to put my faith in the Lord and live in the moment. Take in every thing that is going on around me. Savor today. Thanks Holly, for getting my mind to work on something that needed to be addressed. Love ya!

Today is quite rainy still. Hasn't stopped for almost four days now. So between meetings today...my mind has really wondered and wandered too. : D
