Been there....missed that!

What a wonderful Sabbath. We are at the cabin and both girls are here for a few days. We got up this morning and went to Sacrament meeting at Macks Inn. I have never seen so many people. 1100 of them. They have a big church and an A-frame church and they were both PACKED and the Relief Society room was filled. It is crazy to see so many faithful vacationers!!!! The speaker asked us to think about 3 questions.

1. If you could have ANYTHING in you kitchen what would it be? 2. What have you learned about in the gospel in the past year? 3. What have you done to help with your relationship with the Savior?

On question # 1 Jerry leaned over and said "A Cook" Yea!!!!!! That would be great. Both girls said they want "A Kitchen"
Anyway, he told about going to Mexico and the people were very poor. He asked 3 of them what they wanted in their kitchens and 2 said a blender and one said a microwave. I felt very spoiled. He and a friend went to the big city and bought them the things they wanted. He said it was like a million bucks to them.

On question 2 and 3 he told us that his 26 year old son was killed in an avalanche 1 1/2 years ago. He was the father of 2 small children. You can imagine the thing he learned! He said the one thing he learned is that our Loving Heavenly Father says: " Trust in Me Until You Are Able to See Things As I See Them" It was a very powerful meeting.

The A-Frame

We then went to the cabin and packed a lunch and went for a Sunday Drive into West Yellowstone.

Saw lots of buffalo, elk, eagles, had lunch, and just drove around. It is very beautifulWe got to Old Faithful, parked the car and walked up just as it was finishing. It was 90 minutes before it would go off again. Oh well, maybe next time! I love the family time. Ryan and Sydni went with her family camping this weekend. They took the 4-wheeler. He said they had a blast.

WOW! How fun! I remember seeing old Faithful when I was about 10 years old. You must be really close to it for a weekend visit.

That "A" frame church is So neat. I didn't know that our church owned buildings like that. Very neat. Sounds like it also was a really great meeting.

I really like the picture of you and your hubby at the end. You both look so happy and relaxed.

How Fun! We haven't been to Yellowstone for about a year now. It is always beautiful and refreshing! Glad you got to go with your girls!
We love church in Island Park. We went over the 4th of July, boy was it packed. People were outside because there was not enough room in the church or A-Frame. Have a great time! Love ya Mary
