Getting to Know You.....again
Today we all just hung out around the house and tried to get stuff done.I cleaned out my closet and got all the fall stuff out. Jerry worked in the yard. Sydni's mom and step-dad were going to be in town so we decided to meet them for dinner. We had never met her step-dad. We went to Iggy's, a new restaurant in town. Syd's mom, Gina was telling Jerry that she had introduced Ryan to her brother and that he knew him. They were in the same ward when Jerry was a senior in hi-school. She told him what her brother's name was. jerry recognized the name and started thinking......"Did he have a sister, Gina" We all looked at him and said, "Yea, this is Gina!" Her brother had introduced them and they had gone out on a date!!!! They were both seniors. It was hilarious! Poor Ryan and Sydni. Ryan just keep saying...."this is so awkward." I thought it was so funny. By the end of the evening they had brought up all the memories of the date and who they doubled with. Don't try to tell me it's not a small world. Of course, Ryan and Syd are having a field day with this one. It was a classic. One of those moments in your life that you never forget. One of those "Top Ten" stories! One of those evenings that left a smile on my face! LOL

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One in a million, eh? That is SO funny! I can totally hear Ryan saying "this is awkward". Kids.....they just have such a hard time imagining their parents having a high school life before the parents' marriage.
Fun post!!
Thank you so much for your love and support.I appreciate you and Debbie stopping by yesterday. It really means a lot to me.
I finally got to see Sydney at church yesterday and she is such a doll! I love her dimples. I have always wanted dimples :(
Anyways, lucky you to get such a darling daughter-in-law.
You can run but you can't hide from your past. Not funny when it happens to you but oh so funny when it happens to others.
Luv U 4 Ever

Hi Judy,
Thanks for visiting my blog, and I'm glad you will find a use for my wedding elements.
Wow - that was a lot to follow in your blog entry, but I think I get the gist and it IS a small world. I'm constantly finding this out.
I'm glad I came to visit.
Warmly,
Barb {Mrs. Miles}
