I am in the process of making this precious blog into a book. One for posterity. I am a horrible journal writer, so this is perfect for me. I can’t wait. The more I get it into book form, the more I want to blog and get my thoughts onto paper. I know everyone gets real tired of MY CAMERA, but boy oh boy is it amazing to look back at our life and it’s recording. BE PATIENT PEOPLE!
We left last week and head to Idaho for my Uncle Bill’s funeral. When we got to IF it was late and this is what we saw.
Wednesday was one of those get up and run, run run days. We went to the hospital to see Craig. He got an new knee. Then we met Ryan and Syd for lunch. Went to my favorite pizza joint….Papa Tom’s. JP and I decided to try and find Craig a walker at DI for a joke, so I went looking. Finally found one at the Thrift Store. :<] I was then able to go to the hospital to see Shantel and Colter’s baby girl. She was born the end of February at 28 weeks. Oh, that was a delightful day. She is precious. I got to hold her. I was in heaven.
Her name is Jorgen Taylor. She weighed 2 lbs 5 oz. When I got to hold this little sunshine, she weighed 5 lbs 12 oz. She’s a lil fighter. Love this little girl already. She’s a beauty.
Thursday was my Uncle’s funeral. His family did the service. The kid’s spoke and the grandkids sang. It was amazing. One of the best funerals I have been to. Such an tribute to Uncle Bill.
Dewayne, ZoAnn, Lorraine, My Mom, My Dad, LeeAnn and Dick. Bill is Mom’s, ZoAnn’s and Dick’s Brother.
All the cousins.
After the funeral, we went to my parents for dinner. Kent drove up in his new wheels…..his school bus!
Then to Craig’s to take his his new wheels. :} and his Birthday Present.
Friday JP and I hung out. Went to the cupcake store at Taylor’s crossing. Tried to get some house’s listed. Some yard work done.
Saturday I took Sydni to Applebee’s for lunch for her Birthday. It was fun to be able to hang with my fave DIL!!!!! We then headed to Katie’s baby shower.
Sydni, Katie, Natalie and me.
Darlene and Doris. {sisters}
Darlene, Sydni, Judy, Katie, Teresa, Natalie, Janel, Donna and Jaxon.
Then Sydni and I snuck out behind Rockwood’s house to pick him some dandelions.
Then Ryan and Syd fixed dinner for Mother’s day. Oh my gosh!!!! It was delicious. She is quite the little cook.
Then the four of us went to Fast Five. It was so fun hanging with these two. Love ‘em to pieces!
Sunday we headed home, so stopped by to see how Craig was doing.
My week was filled with people and purpose. Many blessings. Said good bye to an Uncle and Hello to a sweet little cousin. I am trying to adjust to my new life. Makes going home even more precious.

I am excited that you are putting your blog into a book. It sure is addicting, eh?......this journalizing through blogging. I've never recorded so much family history in my life before blogland! Love it.
Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous by the way. That sun set is amazing. And I loved all the ones you took at your Uncle funeral. What a loving family he has. So many of you!
So what did you think of Love at First Bite? It's my favorite cupcake shop in Idaho Falls. :) I'm glad you had a nice trip.
What a busy weekend! It was so good to see you! I love the pictures that you took with the sunset...Amazing:) Love ya Judy!
I completely agree about blogging and keeping the memories for posterity! I'm the Judy in the family who takes all the pictures and tells everybody to be patient, because one day they're going to really appreciate all those dang pictures! ha ha ha
Sorry to hear about your uncle. That's always such a hard thing. But I'm really glad for that sweet baby doing so well!
PS I love the new look of the blog!
It was great to see you! Thanks for taking pictures at the funeral...you got some great shots. It really was a joyous celebration of Grandpa's life. He was an amazing man!
Hopefully we'll see each other more often, now that we're practically neighbors:)
