:0 SWEET MEMORY MONDAY

I am so thankful for my family. As we have taken the road that our life has lead us down, I have had lots of time to think. It is my family that has gotten me through this. We have had to rely on each other, and have had to go through things we never dreamed we would go through. I have so many memories of the years the kids were younger. I guess I never though I would raise a family and then have them grow up and be my strength. I'm sure to you this is blah-blah-blah...

But I just want to express my appreciation. Each one of my kids have gifts and talents that I know that are special gifts from our Heavenly Father. Each one helps me in a different way. As they go through all of the decisions they must make to make their lives complete, I pray each day for them. I don't ask for perfect lives. I pray that they can muddle through this life and be able to look into the eyes of the the Savior and be proud. That they will serve those in need.

Their Dad's cancer has been very difficult for them. I have watched them with amazement, as they have cared for him, loved him and worried about him. Life isn't perfect, but my goal is to come through it with a smile on my face, a testimony in my heart, and my family at my side.

An Update: We are almost 4 weeks out post op. It has been a very difficult recovery. I didn't know anything about this form of cancer and my eyes have been opened. He is doing better every day. We have had a few set-backs, but our spirits are up. He attended 5 hours of church yesterday, and that did him in. We enjoyed a lazy Easter, with my parents. (pics later)

I went in last week because the hives are back full blast. They have me on Prednisone, Zyrtek, Claratin, hyroxozine and Singulair. Still wake up every day with them, but can usually get them under control.

Cole has to have her Gal-bladder out.....maybe the end of this month. We told her she has to wait until then so she can get the recliner. It won't be empty until May 1. It has been used alot lately!
