Yip….that is my 2011 word. Adventure. I don’t know how my life could be any more adventurous than it has the past 2 years, but I know that what ever life brings my way will be an adventure and that I will enjoy the journey. I am so grateful for my life and my family. I am grateful for the adventures we have go on together. For the happy things and for the bad things.
It seems that there is so much hard stuff going on with so many. I have a distant cousin that I found out today that her husband died suddenly on December 28th. He was in his 40’s. I am so sad for that family.
My sweet niece Natalie is faced with thyroid cancer right now, and I am so sad she has to deal with this. Please keep her and her little family in your prayers.
So, on to twenty eleven…..another adventure. Another journey to link to our path of life. More days of sweetness and happy memories. More days of trials and pain. These adventures are what make us into who we are. It’s only through adversity that we see who we really are. So I hope 2011 brings us all happy adventures, happy memories and health and joy!
